Important Notice – Cash Investment Account Interest Rate Changes

Westpac’s commitment to our customers includes keeping you up to date with changes in our interest rates. The following new rates will apply for our Cash Investment Account effective 14 December 2020.

* In addition to the standard variable rate on your Westpac Cash Investment Account balance, interest at a bonus variable rate (“Bonus Interest”) is paid subject to eligibility. Bonus Interest rate currently 0.30% p.a. as at 14 December 2020. In order to be eligible to receive Bonus Interest, you must settle 3 or more ASX Trades via your linked Westpac Share Trading account within one calendar month. The Bonus Interest will apply in addition to the interest that would otherwise apply to your account. Please note settlement for ASX Trades occurs 2 business days after trade execution. Bonus Interest will be paid on the balance in your account on and after the last business day of the previous month, up to and including the second last business day of the current month. Bonus Interest will only be paid on balances of $5million or less.
