What if I have an open order, partially executed order, or make an amendment?

All orders placed before 12 noon (AEST) 13 April 2024, which are fully or partially executed after 13 April 2024, will be subject to the previous brokerage rate. Amending these orders will not change the brokerage rate. If you have an open order that has not been partially executed and you would like the new brokerage rates to be applied, you will need to cancel your order and place a new one after 12 noon (AEST) 13 April 2024. Please note this may impact your position in the market depth.

For a full list of fees and charges, please visit Products & Services > Shares > Australian Shares and click on the ‘Rates and Fees’ Tab, or refer to the updated Westpac Securities Limited and Australian Investment Exchange Limited Financial Services Guide (FSG), which will be available to download from 13 April 2024.

Please note, alternative brokerage rates may be agreed from time to time and will be in accordance with the Westpac Share Trading Terms and Conditions. If you are offered and agree to an alternate brokerage rate, this may result in brokerage changes that are different to the brokerage rate disclosed within our FSG.

Should you have any questions about these changes, please contact us.
