Listing Options over ETFs

The ASX is now listing options over exchange traded funds (ETFs) and you will be able to trade these on your Options trading account.

The first of these is STW (SPDR S&P/ASX 200 Fund) which will be available for trading on Friday 8 September 2017.

The new contract specifications are:

  • Exercise style: European
  • Exercise cycle: Quarterly expires (March, June, September, December)
  • Contract size: 100 securities
  • Registration fee: $0.13 per contract
