Updates to the House rules Share Trading Terms and Conditions, Global Markets Trading Terms and Conditions, Exchange Traded Options (ETO) Product Disclosure Statement, Wider Options US Exchange Traded Options (ETO) Product Disclosure Statement, and Subscriptions, Packages, and Alerts Terms and Conditions effective 3 June 2023

We have made changes to the following documents which will take effect from 3 June 2023:

  1. House rules Share Trading Terms and Conditions;
  2. Global Markets Trading Terms and Conditions;
  3. Exchange Traded Options (ETO) Product Disclosure Statement;
  4. Wider Options US Exchange Traded Options (ETO) Product Disclosure Statement;
  5. Subscriptions, Packages and Alerts Terms and Conditions.

The following changes will be made across documents 1-4 above:

  1. Replaced various “Chi-X” references to “Cboe” to reflect the change of name of the market operator.
  2. Replaced various “Westpac Securities” references to “Westpac Share Trading”.
  3. Replaced various “Online Investing” references to “Share Trading”.
  4. Replaced various weblinks from “westpac.com.au/onlineinvesting” to “westpac.com.au/sharetrading”.
  5. Replaced various “Westpac Privacy Policy” references to “Westpac Privacy Statement” to reflect the change of the Westpac Banking Privacy Statement document name.
  6. Replaced the section heading ‘Privacy policies.’ to ‘Privacy.’
  7. Updated the Customer Relations postal address from “Westpac Customer Relations, Reply Paid 85148, Australia Square NSW 1215” to “Customer Relations, Reply Paid 85157, Australia Square NSW 1214”.

We are not able to ensure that foreign government agencies or regulators will comply with Australian privacy laws, although they may have their own privacy laws. By using this product or service, you consent to these disclosures.”

  18. Terms and Conditions of Your Share Trading Account – Section 2.0 General
    • Sub-section 2.9: Added a new paragraph, “From 3 June 2023 requests to change the nominated Cash account must be to an approved Westpac Bank account. Approved Westpac accounts may be subject to change from time to time.”
